GPC™ 2.0 – the second version of our Ginger’s Plate Carrier. This new iteration introduces solutions that focus primarily on the ergonomics of ballistic and equipment carriage. Lightweight and minimalist, this plate carrier is designed with utmost mobility and versatility in mind.
Carrying system
New hypalon shoulder straps ensure the thinnest profile in their class, guaranteeing excellent compatibility with backpacks and rifle slings. They are perfect for low-profile operations. Shoulder straps feature centimeter scale, which is helpful for adjusting both equally.
The internal part of the plate carrier and the basic shoulder pads are made of stretch material. This provides higher comfort compared to 500D Cordura and is also more durable and easier to clean than commonly used spacer meshes.
To enhance airflow, our plate carrier is equipped with special channels for mounting the Foam Pads Set GPC™ 2.0. These foam pads are designed for use in complex, heavy configurations.
The attachment of the cummerbunds is based on hook and loop panels on both front and back. The high front loop panel allows for smooth adjustment of the fastening height.
Plate carrier’s equipment configuration
Front flap attachment system is based on four webbing loops that are fastened under the front panel. Internal panel for attaching the loops can also be used for mounting cummerbunds or other hook and loop accessories. This solution separates the attachment point of the plate carrier’s cummerbunds, preventing additional Velcro-mounted panels from detaching when front flap is lifted.
At the bottom front of the plate carrier, there are integrated webbing loops that allow for use of the Front Flap Security Kit, providing assurance that the front flap will be securely fastened during parachute jumps to prevent unintended opening.
In the upper part of the front cover of the plate carrier, below the PALS columns with sewn-on loop, there are dedicated openings for running cables inside. This allows for efficient cable routing within the ballistic compartment.
Vertical webbings are placed on the sides for optional attachment of flaps using ITW Nexus QASM buckles.
Integrated mounting points made of hypalon can be utilized for attaching PTT (Push-to-Talk) devices or other accessories.
The standard PALS panel on the back enables equipment configuration across the entire surface of the plate carrier.
Additional features
Integrated and reinforced handle, protruding beyond the outline of the plate carrier, allows for a secure grip during emergency situations. Additionally, it is useful for storing the GPC™.
Internal stretch material addresses the issue of fitment of variety ballistic plates available on the market while maintaining minimal dimensions and stability when carrying the ballistic load.
The GPC™ 2.0 plate carrier is offered in two sizes:
M – SAPI Medium and 10″ x 12″ / 500 g
L – SAPI Large / 515 g
*GPC™ 2.0 size is determined by SAPI plate size. SAPI ballistic plates are not included.
